About This Mixed Sleeve of Coins

The Jefferson Nickel, introduced in 1938, replaced the Buffalo Nickel and features a portrait of Thomas Jefferson designed by Felix Schlag. The Washington Quarter, first minted in 1932, commemorates the 200th anniversary of George Washington’s birth and was designed by John Flanagan. Collectors pursue these series for their historical significance and the evolution of their designs over the decades. The bicentennial Washington Quarter, minted in 1976, is particularly notable for its dual date and special reverse design celebrating the United States’ 200th anniversary.
