Year and toning vary on these, so the coin you receive will not be identical to the photograph. The Eisenhower dollar was the last large dollar coin the United States made for circulation, running from 1971 to 1978; circulating pieces were copper-nickel, while San Francisco struck the 40% silver versions specifically for collectors. Frank Gasparro’s reverse is adapted from the Apollo 11 mission insignia.
These are in stock now. If the toning matters to you, come pick one out in person in St. Augustine.
