Chinese Pandas differ from every other major bullion program in one respect: the design changes every year. A new panda pose has appeared annually since the program began in the early 1980s, with a single exception when a design was repeated, so collectors assemble Pandas by date the way they would a classic series, and older dates carry premiums that have nothing to do with metal content.
These have sold. Panda issues are bought outright from the public at our St. Augustine counter.
