Egypt struck silver piastres and pounds through much of the twentieth century, under the sultanate, then the kingdom, then the republic, so the coinage carries three different sets of national symbols across a few decades of otherwise similar denominations. That is what makes Egyptian silver interesting to sort through.
This has sold. Foreign silver is bought outright from the public at our St. Augustine counter.
