Carson City struck coins from 1870 to 1893, built to serve the Comstock Lode silver strike a short distance away in Nevada, and the CC mark it used is among the most sought after in American numismatics. Total output there was small next to Philadelphia or New Orleans, which is why the mark carries a premium on every denomination it appears on.
Off the shelf now. Anything wearing a CC mint mark is worth bringing in – we buy outright.
