Quarters carrying Charles Barber’s Liberty head were struck from 1892 to 1916, in the same 90 percent silver alloy as every other United States quarter of the era. They circulated hard, and most surviving examples show the flat, worn head the design is known for.
These have sold. Barber silver is bought outright at our counter, and worn coins are still very much worth bringing in – the silver does not care about the wear.
