Perfect Mint State eagle with signature from Chief Engraver. This is a 2016 American Silver Eagle in NGC MS70 with an Early Releases designation, on a label signed by John Mercanti – the Mint’s twelfth Chief Engraver and the man who drew the heraldic eagle reverse the series carried from 1986. A signature from the person who designed the coin’s own reverse is a different proposition from a celebrity autograph label.
