Five coins, struck to proof standard at Philadelphia in 1962: cent, nickel, dime, quarter and Franklin half dollar. The dime, quarter and half in a set of this year are all 90 percent silver, since the switch to clad coinage was still three years off. Proofs of the era were struck from polished dies on selected planchets, which is where the mirrored fields come from.
This set has sold. Proof sets and mint sets are bought outright from the public at the shop.
