A 1958 Franklin half dollar, struck in the 90% silver alloy the United States used for circulating half dollars through 1964. The Franklin series ran from 1948 to 1963 and carries John R. Sinnock’s portrait of Benjamin Franklin on the obverse with the Liberty Bell on the reverse. Each coin contains just over a third of a troy ounce of silver, which is why Franklins remain a common entry point for people building silver weight without paying a heavy premium.
This one is offered as pictured. Stop by the shop in St. Augustine to look it over in person, or ask us what else is in the Franklin box.
