Welcome to The Vault & Co. (“The Vault & Co.,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of thevaultand.co, callthevault.com, their subdomains, and in-store purchases or services (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Returns & Refunds Policy.

1) Eligibility; U.S.-Only; 18+

The Services are offered exclusively in the United States and to individuals 18 years or older. Do not use the Services if you are under 18 or outside the U.S. We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel any transaction at our sole discretion if fraudulent, abusive, or suspicious activity is suspected.


2) Product Listings, Availability & Condition

  • Availability: At times, items may be not on hand or immediately available (e.g., being authenticated, in vault storage, in transit from a supplier/consignor, or temporarily on hold). Estimated fulfillment times are good-faith estimates, not guarantees.

  • Descriptions: We strive to describe items accurately. Photos may depict the exact item or a representative example (especially for bullion) and can vary due to lighting, monitors, or production runs.

  • Pre-owned / Vintage: Watches, jewelry, bags, and certain items may be pre-owned. Unless stated, we are not affiliated with the original brands. Trademarks belong to their owners.

  • Authentication: We may use third-party tools and services (e.g., XRF, Sigma, authentication providers). Certificates/grades represent opinions of the issuing entities.


3) Pricing, Taxes & Market Volatility

  • Market-linked pricing: Coins and bullion prices may change quickly due to spot metal movements and premium shifts. Your price is set at the time your order is placed and accepted.

  • Taxes & fees: You are responsible for applicable sales/use taxes, shipping, insurance, and any regulatory fees.

  • Errors: We may cancel or correct orders for typographical, pricing, or availability errors, suspected fraud, or compliance reasons, even after an automatic confirmation, with a prompt refund if charged.


4) Orders, Payment & Verification

We may require payment authorization, identity verification, signature on delivery, or other anti-fraud checks. We reserve the right to refuse or limit any order (per person, per payment method, per address, or per account).

Processing Fees:
All credit and debit card transactions are subject to standard payment processing fees charged by the payment processor. Because we operate on margins as low as 1%, these fees must be paid by the customer. Processing fees are automatically added at checkout where applicable.

To help our customers avoid any added costs, we proudly offer multiple no-fee payment options, including:

  • Zelle (Preferred) — instant and fee-free

  • Bank Transfer (ACH/Wire) — typically posts within 1–3 business days

  • Cash (Local Pickup) — available for in-person transactions

By submitting payment through any method, you agree to cover applicable payment processor fees unless paying through one of the above fee-free options.

Chargebacks & Fraud:
Unauthorized chargebacks, payment disputes, or attempts to reverse a valid transaction are strictly prohibited and will be treated as fraudulent activity. We maintain detailed transaction records, including communication logs, invoices, and shipment verification, to support legitimate sales. Any fraudulent chargeback or payment reversal will result in immediate legal action and potential involvement of law enforcement and payment processors.

If you believe your card was fraudulently used to make a purchase on our website, please contact us immediately at contact@thevaultand.co. We will assist you in verifying the transaction and, if confirmed unauthorized, help ensure that the issue is properly reported and resolved through the correct channels.

If you believe you are entitled to a refund or there is an issue with your order, please contact us directly at contact@thevaultand.co before initiating any dispute. We are committed to resolving all legitimate concerns quickly and professionally.

We reserve the right to request additional identification, proof of address, or verification documents before processing any order. Orders suspected of fraud, unauthorized payment use, or inconsistencies between billing and shipping information may be delayed, canceled, or reported to relevant authorities.

By submitting payment information, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the selected payment method and that the payment details provided are accurate. Unauthorized use of any payment method is prohibited and may result in investigation and legal action.

By sending payment through any third-party method — including Zelle, Cash App, Venmo, PayPal, or Bank Transfer (ACH/Wire) — you acknowledge and agree to The Vault & Co.’s full Terms & Conditions, including all policies on payments, chargebacks, and refunds.


5) Shipping, Title & Risk of Loss

  • Transfer of risk: Title and risk of loss pass to you when we tender the shipment to the carrier (e.g., USPS, UPS, FedEx).

  • Lost packages: We are not liable for items lost in transit after the carrier accepts the package or for packages the carrier marks as delivered.

  • Protection: We strongly recommend insured shipping, signature confirmation, and a secure delivery address. We’ll assist with carrier traces/claims as feasible.

  • Proof of delivery provided by the carrier shall serve as conclusive evidence that the item was delivered to the address provided at checkout. Any claim of non-receipt after a confirmed delivery scan may be treated as a fraudulent claim unless promptly supported by an official carrier investigation.


6) Returns, Refunds & Buybacks

  • Final sale: All products are final sale. We do not accept returns or provide refunds on any purchase (including coins, bullion, watches, purses, jewelry, accessories, and collectibles).

  • Special circumstances: We may, at our sole discretion, make exceptions.

  • Buybacks (coin/bullion only): If you later wish to sell back coin/bullion purchased from us, we may offer a buyback based on current spot prices, live market premiums, and condition/authenticity. Buyback quotes are not guaranteed and fluctuate with the market.

  • Arrives damaged/incorrect: If something is damaged, incorrect, or not as advertised, contact support@thevaultand.co within 72 hours with photos and your order number. After review, we will remedy with a replacement or refund for the affected item(s). (We may provide a prepaid return label if a return is required.)

Refunds, if granted, are processed only to the original payment method used and after verification that the payment was legitimate and authorized.


7) Consignment, Auctions & Special Orders

  • Consignments/Auctions: By consigning or bidding, you agree to the specific terms disclosed at listing/checkout (e.g., reserves, buyer/seller premiums, timelines, settlement).

  • Special orders: Custom or special-order items may have longer lead times and are not cancellable once materials are ordered or work has begun unless we agree otherwise in writing.


8) Communications; SMS/MMS

By providing your contact information to The Vault & Co. in connection with a transaction — whether verbally, in writing, or through a signed purchase ticket — you consent to receive transactional and service-related communications, including receipts, order updates, appointment coordination, compliance notices, and responses to inquiries.

Marketing or promotional communications (including SMS or email) will be sent only where required consent has been separately obtained.

Standard message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time as permitted by law.


9) User Conduct

You agree not to misuse the Services, including: unlawful activity; infringing, deceptive, or fraudulent behavior; interfering with security or operations; scraping without permission; or attempting unauthorized access.

Any attempt to obtain goods, services, or refunds by deception — including filing false claims, submitting false documents, or misrepresenting order status — constitutes fraud. We reserve the right to pursue all civil and criminal remedies available under applicable law.


10) Intellectual Property

The Site, content, trademarks, graphics, product photos, and materials are owned by or licensed to The Vault & Co. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.


11) Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services and all information are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind (express or implied) regarding uninterrupted access, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement. Any grading/certification reflects the opinion of the issuing organization.


12) Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Vault & Co. and its owners, employees, and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses. Our total liability for claims arising out of or related to the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the item(s) giving rise to the claim.


13) Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless The Vault & Co. from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Services, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.


14) Compliance; KYC/AML

We may request information to comply with Know Your Customer (KYC), anti-money-laundering (AML), sanctions, tax, or other legal obligations, and may decline or cancel transactions that do not meet requirements.


15) Changes to the Services or Terms

We may modify the Services or these Terms at any time. Updates become effective when posted with the “Last Updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.


16) Governing Law; Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Venue for any dispute shall lie in the state or federal courts located in St. Johns County, Florida, unless we mutually agree to arbitration. You consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.


17) Severability; Waiver

If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.


18)Purchase Ticket Authorization; Data Entry by The Vault & Co.

In connection with in-store transactions, buybacks, evaluations, consignments, or other services, The Vault & Co. may collect customer information directly and enter such information into its internal systems, including point-of-sale systems, buying tools, compliance records, and AI-assisted tools.

By signing a purchase ticket, intake form, invoice, or similar transaction document (whether physical or electronic), you expressly:

  • Authorize The Vault & Co. to collect, record, and store your personal information, including name, phone number, email address, address, identification details, and transaction data;

  • Acknowledge that such information may be entered by The Vault & Co. staff into internal software systems and databases for business, compliance, security, recordkeeping, and transaction purposes;

  • Agree that your signature constitutes acceptance of The Vault & Co.’s current Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and any related policies published on our website, regardless of whether the information was entered by you or by our staff.

Information collected through this process may be used for transactional communications, recordkeeping, fraud prevention, regulatory compliance, police reporting, compliance with authorities, customer service, and internal analytics.


19)Use of AI-Assisted Internal Tools

The Vault & Co. may use AI-assisted or automated tools internally to help document transactions, categorize inquiries, summarize customer interactions, and improve operational efficiency.

Customers do not interact directly with such tools in connection with in-store buying transactions. Any information entered into these systems is used solely for business operations, recordkeeping, compliance, and security purposes.
